one particularly cool guy. our teacher. i remember him blasting Screaming Jay Hawkins.. a couple of good quotes " you couldn't draw your way out of a paper bag" " you love that drawing so much why don't you fuck it" . there were so many more. When i was his TA , a few times i had to chase students, who ran out of class crying because of his critiques , explaining to them that he cared much more than they knew. and way more than most. he would say "if you can't handle me , how are you going to handle a critic". thanks for being such a ball buster.
